Meet Dr. Heather Zak, Dentist & Owner. After earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2001, Dr. Zak completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia. That experience brought her to the Hampton Roads (757) area – and she’s been proud to call it home ever since.

Dr. Zak has been caring for patients in her own dental practice since 2005, with her current office located in Suffolk, Virginia. Over the years, she’s built a welcoming environment where patients can relax, feel understood, and actually enjoy their dental visits.

She loves that dentistry has given her the flexibility to raise three wonderful sons—two now in college and one in high school—while pursuing a fulfilling career built around helping others. She and her husband have built a life full of love, laughter, and family adventures.

With a gentle touch and a focus on comfort, Dr. Zak believes that taking care of your oral health is one of the best investments you can make in yourself. Her goal is always to make patients smile—not just because of their teeth, but because they feel truly cared for.

When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her walking along the beach, strength training, cooking new recipes, or spending time with her family and their beloved Australian Labradoodle, Woody – who comes to the office with her and also joins her for weekly dog training classes.
